Seef Properties Presents Financial Donation to Muharraq Parents Care Home

Stemming from its commitment to social responsibility, Seef Properties has recently donated an amount to Muharraq Parents Care Home. The donation aims to support the Home’s programmes and activities, meet the needs of its members and provide more diverse services for the elderly.

The support cheque was handed over at the Seef Properties’ Headquarter in Seef District by Dr Mustafa Ali Al Sayed, Deputy Chairman of Seef Properties and Chairman of the Company’s CSR Committee, to Ms. Zakiya Juma Al Mahmeed, Supervising Administrator at Muharraq Parents Care Home, in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Yusuf, Chief Executive Officer of Seef Properties, Mr. Mohammed Al Qaed, Acting Chief Commercial Officer at Seef Properties, and Ms. Fatema Hussain Bucheeri, Head of Programmes and Activities at Muharraq Parents Care Home.

The donation comes in consistency with the Company’s strategy to boost social responsibility and its constant keenness to deepen the bonds of cooperation with various civil society institutions and support their initiatives in the fields of education and the implementation of distinctive development and humanitarian projects, in a way that contributes to enhancing the spirit of community solidarity.

Muharraq Parents Care Home was established by the Good Word Society in February 2009, with the aim to provide various services to more than 4,000 retirees in Muharraq Governorate, as part of the Society’s endeavour to participate in governmental and private efforts aimed at caring for, protecting and integrating them into society.

The Home’s vision is to be pioneers in achieving integrated services and care for the elderly in the Kingdom of Bahrain, while its mission is focused on seeking excellence in serving and caring for the elderly, respecting and appreciating their giving, and creating a symbiotic environment aware of their needs through health and psychological activities and initiatives, encouraging personal hobbies and spreading community awareness.

Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Essa Mohamed Najibi, Chairman of Seef Properties, stated: “We are delighted to support Muharraq Parents Care Society, as we are aware the purposeful programmes to boost health, social, educational and productive care for the elderly, who have had great contributions to serve their country. Through this donation, the Home will continue to achieve a set of objectives, including providing health, social and psychological care for the elderly, encouraging the integration of the elderly and their comprehensive participation in society, and strengthening the role of the family to provide the highest levels of care and services that are in line with global approaches in this field, and the participation of the elderly In the decision-making processes of the Home and civil society organizations, in addition to securing appropriate job opportunities and ensuring income and decent living for the elderly.”
